This painting depicts Jal Mahal, the historic water palace in Jaipur. Framed by arches, a solitary figure gazes across the calm surface of Man Sagar Lake. I used soft washes and warm earth tones to capture the stillness, light, and reflective atmosphere of this iconic setting.
