Through the Stone Screen, Qutub Complex, Delhi

160$

Inspired by architectural details from the Qutb Minar Complex, this watercolor focuses on a richly carved arch framing a stone jali screen. I paid close attention to the calligraphy, geometric patterning, and layered stonework characteristic of early Indo-Islamic architecture of the Delhi Sultanate period.
